Shipping and Returns

 

What is your return policy?

The following items are only returnable if they are in their un-opened and un-blemished original packaging:

  • Costumes
  • Socks and Stockings
  • Shoes and Boots

The following items are NOT returnable: 

  • Undergarments
  • Eyelashes, Wigs, Beards, and Facial Hair
  • Prosthetics, Fangs, and Fake Teeth
  • Cosmetics
  • Latex Masks
  • Food and Candy Items
  • Personalized Items
  • Any item that states in cannot be returned in the product description 

 

3 Steps that you MUST take to return or exchange your wig:

 

Step 1. Request an Authorization 

Send us an email to info@citycostumewigs.com and let us know which item you have and why you want to return it.

Your Must Include: Your First & Last Name, Order Number, and Zip code where it was shipped to.

 


Step 2. Follow the Mailing Instruction:

A customer service representative will respond to your email and give you instruction on where to send the item. Follow the mailing instructions and please include your packing slip with your wig.


Step 3. Refund

When we receive your wig returned in a good, salable condition, then you will be refunded via the original payment method. Please note that it will take Approx. 6-10 business days for the funds to reach your account.

We will NOT honor:

  • without original tags and packaging 
    (including nets, if applicable)

 

NOTE: The customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to the return or exchange. City Costume Wigs is not responsible for items lost in transit during the exchange or return process. Collect on Delivery (COD) shipments will be refused. Any shipping charges related to the original order will NOT be refunded.  

When will my order be shipped?
City Costume Wigs understands the importance of fast shipping, but during Halloween orders can take 2+ days to ship out.
During every month except October, orders placed before 12 P.M. C.S.T. will go out that day. Orders placed after the deadline will go out the next day.All timeframes for shipping are an estimate. They are NOT guaranteed.

What if an item is out of stock?
We try our best to keep the website updated, but there are instances where an item may be on back order. If we have part of the order, we will ship the partial order and ask the customer if they would like to wait or receive a refund.

Does City Costume Wigs Ship Internationally?
We currently ship to all of the United States and Canada. Sometimes we do make exceptions. Please contact us for special arrangements. There are currently shipping options for most of Europe and Australia upon check out. 
Please note that the delivery dates are approximate and will vary depending on Customs and Border Protection. We do not guarantee delivery dates.


Happy Customers! Customer service is a #1 priority for City Costume Wigs. 

We want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase from CCW. We will gladly accept returns that are unworn with the original accessories, are in new and resalable condition, and in the original packaging within *4 days of you receiving the items. The day that you receive your wig will be day #1. Items must be in a new, resalable condition with all tags attached and in its original intact packaging. Domestic orders will be charged a 25% restocking fee and all international orders are subject to a 50% restocking fee. Orders returned due to insufficient addresses will be subject to the same restocking fees.

Please note: We cannot refund the original or return shipping charges.

*During the Halloween season (September to October), we accept online returns to our return center postmarked prior to October 22nd.

 

Eligible Products for return:

  • In original condition (not altered, worn, or damaged and with original labels attached) and in its original packaging.
  • Odor-Free - If there are any odors, the item will not be eligible or return and will be discarded
  • Returned item(s) must be postmarked within 5 days of original receipt

I received a damaged and/or defective item. What should I do?
We apologize if the item has defects and/ or our shipping partner delivered a broken item. If this happens, please contact us within 48 Hours so that we may remedy the situation.
 

My package was late.
There are no guaranteed delivery dates with standard shipping. The only guarantee is UPS Next Day.

 Are shipping charges refundable?
No. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Can I return my order without talking to you?
No. We do not accept returns that are not prearranged.

I received a special promotion for free shipping with my order, but want to return my items.
We will gladly accept these returns, but you will in this case have to pay for shipping. $20 will be deducted for shipping costs.
